A cold, summer night...

Stan was currently standing around near the front of the castle. He wasn't deployed to guard tonight- but, the warrior insisted to the head knight. So, there he was. Guarding. His abilities were usually doubted, as Stan was the only human in the kingdom.

That's when Stan heard footsteps, coming from the inside. He turned his gaze to look into the entrance, and barely saw out of the corner of his eye...
