Since M’gann and Connor’s wedding, things had been…calm. Somewhat, but a lot more than before. Dick hadn’t heard anything about the Light recently. They were definitely planning something, but he wasn’t sure what yet. As for everything else, that was a problem for the future, he supposed.

He hadn’t seen M’gann or Connor for nearly a month now, still on their honeymoon in which no one was allowed to call or drop in. He honestly wasn’t too shocked by that, but the look on Gar’s face when they said it. Priceless.

Dick and Barbara were advancing in their relationship more and more too, even with a slight bump in the road. The bump? One of the recently saved kids that the Team had rescued was a lot more unstable than they thought. It had been quickly proven they weren’t safe to be kept with the Outsiders, the meta-human safe haven, or even with the Team. So, they were staying with Dick and Babs.

Honestly? Not that bad. They were a good kid and Dick liked having them around.

“What do you want for breakfast, kid? Pancakes? Cereal? Toast? Babs is having scrambled eggs and bacon, if you want me to make extra?”
