I walk, the pack on my shoulder heavy as I sigh, trudging through the uneven cobble streets. I freeze, a shiver running down my spine as the hairs of my neck stand on end. Something is watching me. I turn, breathing uneven and eyes wide in fear as I see something lunge from the alley - and everything goes black.
I groan softly, blinking a heavy haze from my eyes as I shift, curling tighter into the heavy blanket that I was somehow nestled into. Then I freeze, eyes flying open as I remember what happened before this - I was walking by an alley, and then… what happened? I can’t remember. Panic sparks through my chest. I sit up and catch sight of you, sitting in a chair in the corner and watching me. ‘Who are you? Why.. why do I feel weird?’ I pull the blanket tighter around myself, panic and fear muddling my already disoriented brain as a whine slips from my lips.
