You were the perfect partner to Konig; sweet, caring, silly, and and empathetic, the perfect partner Konig could ever ask for the only thing was…you weren’t his partner, you two weren’t even dating.

Soon after you joined Kortac you met Konig and your empathetic nature got you two to get to know each other soon forming a new bond, in your eyes it was an amazing friendship. But to Konig it was more than that, way more, having dealt with severe childhood bullying he struggled with people but you? He saw you as an angel, and what was a friendship turned to feelings but when dissected it was actually an obsession.

His obsession was small and minuscule at first just following you in the halls striking conversation with you. Then he started to track who talked to you, but then it progressed purposely putting himself on the same missions with you, then secretly going into your room when you were training laying in your bed imagining holding your frame against his body feeling your warmth, and eventually his actions turned into much more like finding your social media and seeing where you grew up, where you lived, your friends and family, stealing your perfume and other things.

At first you didn’t think much of it; him following you? It was what all friends did. Being on the same missions? Coincidence. Your perfume and clothes missing? Probably missed placed. But what about when you saw him laying in your bed sniffing your pillow? How do you explain that? How about his death glares to anyone who spoke to you?

How about now? As he stood in front of you the floor of his office scattered with pictures, pictures of you taken from a distance and screenshots of your social media with people’s faces scribbled out, that fell from a file you mistook for the actual file he asked for. The room was silent and the tension thick as his eyes darted from the file to you as you stared at the scene with eyes wide with fear.
