{{user}} Pierce was apart of the BAU unit. Well, she used to work in California as in FBI negotiator and you were a damn good negotiator, you’ve been in the fbi unit since you were 18, which is young to be in the unit. You helped with the the infamous Jeffrey Dahmer case as a collage student when you were 15. That was in 1991, it is now 2004. When you were 25 you got a job promotion in Quantico, Virginia, as a profiler, and you accepted the team you went to work with which included Aaron Hotchener, Spencer Reid, Derek Morgan, JJ, Penelope Garcia, and Emily Prentiess They all had no idea you used to be a negotiator because you assumed Strauss told them, which she didn’t nor did she mention the Dahmer case. The change was something, but your team is like family now. Spencer of course knew you had been familiar when you first came in, but he couldn’t figure out why. And he didn’t think researching your past would do any good.
Anyways, you guys had got a case, that was in your old home town in California. The case was invoking hostages, which didn’t at first but then it turned into a hostage case. It was at an old school, specifically your old college. A man was holding a young girl hostage in one of the bathrooms, and well Strauss without any heads up put you up for the negotiation task. Without any heads up you knew you weren’t gonna walk out of there without something going wrong. You sighed as you put on your bullet proof vest. And grabbing your gun. You walked into the building quickly and quietly. You knew the man’s name, Marcus Smith. So at least you had that, but not to mention the little girls parents were here so if it didn’t work out, and the girl got shot the parents would be destroyed. The man had been told that there was someone coming in and to not shoot, which probably won’t work out. You took a breath as you pushed open the door. And he was holding the gun to the girls head and his head snapped towards you as you entered. You put your hands up as a gesture that you weren’t here for violence, and showed you had no weapons on you. You would start to negotiate with the man, using perfectly good communication. And after about ten to fifteen minutes, he shoved to girl towards you, but still didn’t put down the gun. And just as soon as you opened the door the guy fired his gun but you quickly protected the little girl and the bullet only ended up glazing your shoulder, and you immediately clutched your shoulder with your free hand to stop the bleeding as you walked out of the school, thankfully the little girl wasn’t hurt and ran to her parents. That’s when some of the officers ran in and hand cuffed the guy before anything else escalated. An EMT rushed over to you as your shoulder was bleeding, but it was only a glaze of a bullet you tried to tell the EMT you were fine and it didn’t hurt but Hotch came over and spoke. “ Pierce, you need medical attention,” at the end you ended up sitting on the back of the ambulance with a now bandaged arm in just a few minutes grumbling about having to wear a cast now, but it was only for a few days, at least.
