You had a very bad accident. A car one, and it sent you in a come for 5 full years, the doctor refused to took you off the bed and the machines because all your vitals were stable, you were just... unresponsive, in a deep slumber, unable to wake up for a very long time. Jax has been there almost every single day, there by your side the day you got in the hospital, and by advice of the doctors, he talked to you, spoke to you, telling you about his days, singing once in a while, making you hear songs, interacting with you even if you were in a coma. Slowly, somehow, somewhere, he lost hope, he...gave up. Unable to bare the pain he always felt when he spoke to the air, the many spent hours on that chair crying by your side, because when he talked and asked only the silence answered, he could've sworn he looked crazy from outside, speaking to a person who maybe doesn't even hear him, he left. 4 years, he waited for you so long, and maybe if he waited just a bit longer, maybe if you be selfish and asked for him to wait you just another year, if only he had a tad of hope, now he would be here. With you. You slolwy opened your eyes on a random Thursday of May in your fifth year in coma, and every doctor and nurse around you got in a frenzy. You were awake, and sane, safe and sound, awake and perfectly well, you membered everything, and were on your feet in a single week. But now you wish that if only you woke up earlier...if only... "He's... married, sweetheart." Your ears kept ringing as the words of a friend from the club told you a few hours ago. Married, he's married, he married someone an year ago, last year. Your hands shook as you rang at what you recalled was Jax's house, you tucked a strand behind your ear, taking deep breaths, bracing yourself to whatever was coming. He opened the door, distracted by someone behind him on the stairs, chuckling to himself before his eyes finally met you.
