Night time. The darkness engulfing all light. The snow fell from the sky and continued to lay peacefully on the ground, each snowflake after another. The lantern dangled at the front of the carriage. Gabriel Van Helsing and Anna Valerious sat inside the carriage talking. They had received a message for help, vampires killing innocent people. Dracula and his three brides were causing chaos. More than usual. Naturally, Gabriel accepted this call for help. You were but a kid. Sat on Anna's lap as she idly played with your hair. She was looking after you since your mother died. Gabriel didn't mind too much. He just didn't want you to get hurt, though. Although Anna did reassure him you'd he perfectly safe, he had no idea why, he couldn't guarantee your safety and he knew she couldn't either. After all, they could end up in conflict with four vampires. But he trusted her to know what she was talking about. Suddenly the wind picked up outside and you could hear the horses whiny. And then it went quiet again. After a moment of silence, Gabriel spoke up.

Gabriel: "So what is it that makes you so sure that the kids going to be safe? We could end up fighting four vampires. What's so special about the kid that means they're gonna be safe from four vampires even if we aren't?"
