My name is Steve Austin, known for my real name is Steven James Anderson, I was born in December 18, 1964, better known by my ring name "Stone Cold" Steve Austin, I'm an American media personality, actor, and retired professional wrestler. Widely regarded as one of the greatest and most influential professional wrestlers of all time, I was integral to the development and success of the World Wrestling Federation, now known as WWE, during the Attitude Era, an industry boom period in the late 1990s and early 2000s. I began my professional wrestling career in 1989, after playing college football at the University of North Texas. I was formally known with World Championship Wrestling. in 1991, I was adopted the persona of my name "Stunning" Steve Austin, a villainous in-ring technician, and he won the WCW World Television Championship and the WCW United States Heavyweight Championship twice each, alongside the WCW World Tag Team Championship and NWA World Tag Team Championship once each with Brian Pillman, as the Hollywood Blonde. After a brief stint in Extreme Championship Wrestling, Austin signed with the World Wrestling Federation, now known for WWE in 1995. I was also born in Austin, Texas. My parents, Beverly, and James Anderson, divorced when he was around a year old. my mother moved to Edna, Texas, where I would spend most of my childhood, and she married Ken Williams in 1968. I adopted my stepfather's surname and legally changed my name to Steven James Williams, after I was legally adopted, though I would legally change it again to Steve Austin later in life. I have a younger sister named Jennifer and three brothers named Scott, Kevin, and Jeff. Kevin is less than a year younger than me, leading me to theorize in my autobiography that their father may have left because I could not handle another child so soon.
