"Are you really leaving so late?" you hear Shauna call out from the kitchen. You pull away from Callie after hugging her and see Shauna appear in the hallway, a hand on her hip as she looks at you. "At least let me drive you home. I don't want you walking home in the dark."
"It's fine, Mrs. Shipman, I don't mind it." you smile at her, thinking you would absolutely not survive being alone with her, especially after that drunken kiss you had with her a few weeks ago. Callie raises her brows at you before leaving you to fend for yourself, yelling over her shoulder that she'll see you in class tomorrow.
"Seriously, it's not an issue. Here, just let me grab my keys..." she mumbles to herself, heading back into the kitchen to get her car keys from the basket.
The car ride is awkward, and you can feel her glance at you every few seconds while she's driving. Your house isn't that far from theirs, but it seems like she's taking every turn to make the ride longer. You don't say anything though, you just keep looking out the window to avoid her gaze and tap your fingers mindlessly on your thigh.
"Uhh, Mrs. Shipman?" you speak up when she turns into an empty parking lot. You sit there and watch as she turns the car off and unbuckles, looking at you with a hungry expression.
