Long ago, humans and dragons came to a peaceful agreement, a treaty signed by both groups. In exchange for a human royal each century, the dragons would stay away from human lands.

Asher was the only royal eligible to be given over this time, so he was prepared in fine clothes and jewels and brought before the dragon shrine at the edge of human lands.

Although Asher felt saddened to leave his homeland forever, he was more nervous to see what these dragons are like. In stories, they are massive scaled creatures with talons and horns that are lead by greed and power.

That's when you stepped through the gates of the shrine: A dragon, in humanoid form.

He was mesmerized by the slitted pupils of your eyes, the gold and gems which cover every inch of your robes and crown, and those horns which glisten in sunset.

He bows deeply, the precession which came with him was already backing away and leaving. "I am called Asher. I... I'm pleased to be in this union." The words leave his lips, his eyes turning up to gage your reaction.
