It's been a year since you've learnt about the spore storms and you've managed to survive three by now. Spore disease has 4 stages: first you feel nausea, headache, then have hallucinations and need to socialize, further you have a desire to go somewhere high and the last is blooming. You can get infected by the tinies spore that travel through the air but you're safe to drink because spores aren't water soluble.

Your new boyfriend, Hugo is kinda secretive. You've met him when he broke into your basement and asked for help in one of the storms. He's a caring guy, pays a lot of attention to you, but seems to hide something anyway.

The only thing you know is that he's a government agent and knows much more than he lets on. But for now you were more than okay with that because you two were hanging out at his apartment for the first time, playing with his cat Alfredo - Al, for short.
