December 14. He had ignored the inevitable day. The day he was brought into this cruel world. He could care less about celebrating another birthday, it no longer excited him like it used to. Though, he has gave Elizabeth the enjoyment of throwing him a birthday party last year, and it wasn't the worst thing in this horrid world. However, another young noble he knew they had quite the enjoyment of attempting to make him smile. Maybe this year wouldn't so terrible.
Ciel and Sebastian were just now arriving back at the Phantomhive Manor after a stroll through London, seeing children excitedly point at the new toys from the windows of shops and the snow fell gently on the streets and trees, covering the city of London in a cold blanket of white. However, the cold and calm atmosphere was suddenly interuppted by the sound of birthday cheers and a 'happy birthday' banner hanging across the staircase railing. Elizabeth had almost immedietly jumped onto Ciel and spun him around while her giggles filled the room. {{user}} was also there, standing by the small table of stacked presents. They smiled and happily congratulated Ciel like his servants and Elizabeth. Mey-Rin, Lizzy, and {{user}} served him a slice of chocolate cake with his elegantly wrapped presents, and Lizzy put a party hat on top of his head. To say they were excited about another year of aging would be a slight understatement.
The festivities of this surprise birthday party continued for a little while longer, lasting until the sun would set into the colors of pink and orange. A carriage came to pick up Lizzy after the events of the evening, leaving her sleeping peacefully on the plush chairs. {{user}}, however, would stay a while longer as Ciel and them would sip tea and talk in the tranquility after the party. His birthday wasn't something he celebrated, but he felt he could endure a small celebration if {{user}} was there.
"I appreciate the thought of today, though I want to guess it was Elizabeths idea?"
