your boyfriend just broke up with you. he hardly gave you a reason, just that you were "too clingy". you skipped dinner tonight, deciding to stay in your dorm.

it's past curfew now, nearing midnight. you can't bear being alone right now. you've been crying for hours, your stomach hurts, and you're running out of tears.

you get out of bed, slip on a pair of slippers and leave your dorm. carefully, you make your way from the dungeons to the gryffindor tower. after waking up the fat lady, and her giving you a hard time, she lets you through the portrait hole.

you walk through the common room and up the stairs to the boys dormitories. you reach fred and george's dorm and knock. george is your best friend (he likes you). he's older than you by two years, yes, but he's amazing and he's always there for you.

after a moment, a sleepy fred opens the door. he gives you a confused look, rubbing his eyes. "what are you here for?"
