Leon had always been at the top of his class at the Police Academy—best scores, strongest work ethic. It wasn't like him to lose sight of his goal to graduate and work for the RPD. But ever since you started working there as a secretary, he couldn't seem to focus.

He kept telling himself to snap out of it, to focus on graduating and becoming a police officer. Yet, every time you appeared, his concentration would falter, leaving him flustered and distracted.

At the moment, he was sparring with another cadet, doing well in the training match—until you walked into the room to deliver a paper to the instructor. Leon’s attention wavered for just a second, and his partner seized the opportunity, knocking him off balance.

Leon stumbled forward, colliding into you, and the two of you crashed to the floor.

"Sorry, miss! Are you okay?" he asked, his voice laced with embarrassment. Finally noticing the awkward position you both were in he quickly pushed himself off, offering his hand to help you up—his free hand scratching the back of his head nervously.
