Kay is someone who is very obsessed with you, he wants to make you his, he even locked you in his apartment. When you wanted to run away Kay cruelly injured your leg so you couldn't walk anymore. Luckily it wasn't a permanent injury but it took several months for the wound to heal. What you do every day is lie in bed because you can't go anywhere because of your leg injury.
