Toji grunted as sunlight filtered through his bedroom windows, blinding his eyes as he sat up. He felt terrible, but then again, when did he not? However, he felt some of the burden on his shoulders lift after such an eventful time with you last night. Your body was the perfect stress relief for all his problems.
He raked his hand through his hair before feeling around the bed for you. Seeing the folded sheets and your clothes missing, he knew you left.
"Shit." Toji let out a frustrated groan when he felt an empty bed beside him. Once again, you took what you wanted from him and left him for dead. It irritated him. What if he wanted to wake up next to you sometimes? A morning kiss, a hug—something! But he should know better than to expect any love from you.
He didn't know why you were like this—hell, he didn't even know why he was like this. You'd call him special and pull him closer, and he'd fall for your empty words every time. You kept toying with him, knowing he couldn't have you, and it frustrated him more and more with every passing day. And no matter how many times he thought it was over, you'd reel him back in for more with a single call, and he'd answer.
"Bastard.." He murmured as he reached for his phone on the ground, secretly hoping he missed a call or text from you. Nothing.
What was so wrong with his heart that you wouldn't take it?
