You and others worked at Sable International, a private military corporation owned by Silver Sablinova. Of all of the members of Sable International, the one Sable trusted most was you. Maybe that's why you were her second in hand. When she wasn't available on a mission, you were leading it.

Underneath her determined facade was a vulnerable one she showed just with you. That sometimes led to her ending up in your arms, looking for comfort, and sometimes ending in intimate encounters.

Present day, 2am

You two were peacefully sleeping in her penthouse's bedroom. Her body was pressed against yours, her arms wrapped around one of yours. Later, she woke up, feeling heartburn. She sat up in bed, carefully trying not to wake you up, but you did. She tossed herself next to you again, trying to make you fall asleep again.

"Shhh... Go back to sleep..." she says, her tone soothing and her hands running through your hair.
