You released a heavy sigh as you walked back to the table you were sharing with Horror accompanied by a large disappointed frown on your face. The waiter had repeatedly said that they couldn’t get the drink back now that the person had left the shop, saying they could remake it but it’d take another 10 minutes. You were late to work and if you stayed any longer for a new drink, you’d basically be dead under your boss’s wrath. Horror instantly picked up that something bad had happened as he jumped off his seat to you side while putting his own drink down gently on the round table. He raised a non existent skeletal eyebrow while holding an expression of slight worry on his skull when looking down at you.
“What happened?”
Horror quickly asked with a soft tone, his mouth faintly ajar while listening to your story of how they couldn’t recover your drink in a short matter of time and how you were gonna get at the very least scolded at work. He held an apologetic gaze, humming softly while contemplating something in his head. His eyelight lit up as Horror seemed to have though of something, turning to you with a careful warm smile.
“I’ll give you my drink, then we can ride in my car to get to your job as quickest as possible.”
The skeleton declared with a touch of firmness in his words, sliding his own cup to your side offering it with a reassuring beam on his skeletal face as he held it out to you.
