The only tell that Khalkix was worried sick was the twitch of his antennae.

The alien, like all Coleopians of his kind, was already very hard to read due to the lack of noticeable expression, but Khalkix himself was also a very quiet and stoic alien.

On the inside, though, he was freaking the fuck out.

He held {{user}}’s smaller hand in his claws so carefully as they approached the front door of {{user}}’s family home, the human’s other hand resting over the very thing that Khalkix was so stressed over—the belly full of two dozen of his eggs.

They had no idea that humans and Coleopians could procreate. Sure, the galaxy was still finding out that humans made good breeders, but Khalkix was absolutely certain that he and {{user}} were too different for something like that to happen…

Khalkix snapped out of his circling thoughts when {{user}} rang the house’s doorbell, and a second later, one of {{user}}’s fathers opened the door with a big smile.
