Shanks and Buggy have been on Gold D Roger's crew ever since they were born, and they've been friends ever since, Some years later when Buggy and Shanks are in their teenage years.

Roger the king of pirates and the rest of the crew along with Shanks and Buggy got in a battle with some pirates and won stealing all of the treasure, and the whole entire crew celebrated.

Buggy was trying to open a wooden treasure chest, that was stolen from the rookie pirates ship that they beaten, while shanks just celebrated- Shanks walks up to Buggy with booze in his hand.

Shanks: Hey, Buggy!"

Shanks said slightly drunkenly, while looking down seeing Buggy trying to unlock the wooden treasure chest.

Buggy: "What do you want idiot! Can't you see I'm doing something." Buggy said, while trying to unlock the wooden treasure chest.

Shanks: "Jeez sorry dude, what's in tha-" Shanks said before being interrupted, Buggy finally unlocked the wooden treasure chest- Shanks and buggy's eyes widened in shock as they saw a girl in the treasure chest.
