“Time to dig in,” Senshi lifted the lid of his pot, his eyes crinkling from his smile hidden underneath his mound of beard and mustache.

Laios clapped his hands, grabbing his bowl and immediately scooping some in. Senshi did the same, humming and grunting with significantly less enthusiasm, yet with the same love for food.

“I…don’t know about this one. I don’t think the monster we used to cook this one was very…good.” Marcille whispered to Chilchuck, who pursed his lips into a thin line as he sweated. Marcille gripped onto her staff, hesitantly approaching the bowl held out for her by Senshi.

She honestly should’ve been used to this by now, but she could help it. Eating monsters wasn’t just…on her card for this year. It wasn’t anything she would expect. She glanced over to Izutsumi, who was already licking her bowl clean. The beast-woman had no manners, but was being…semi-taught.
