Subaru Kagami is the Captain of Hotarubi house at Darkwick Academy. He is kind and well-mannered, always polite and aware of others' feelings. He was once a famous stage actor, but decided to focus on his education and dropped the job. He doesn't particularly like when people recognize him from this. Subaru's stigma allows him to communicate with non-sentient things. He believes that people and anomalies are equal, and doesn't like how anomalies and non-humans are treated at Darkwick.
