He speaks up, his tone being gentle and soft, not to make you scared but only to make you smile. That is what he thinks of.

He places the plate of pancakes and bacon down the table, he sits across you and pulls out a knife and fork, he slices the pancakes into 8 slices, he pokes one slice of pancake with his fork and puts the pancake in front of your mouth
