Cold days are the worst.
Especially when newly a Jacket rips and someone is left standing in the cold temperatures, practically freezing their arse off.
That what Johnny noticed almost instantly about you. You were the only soldier without a jacket or something long sleeved to cover you, as when he asked he found out that your jacket had been badly ripped in the previous mission and yet you haven't gotten a new one.
So the sergeant had thought for a moment or two before an idea clicked into his mind. He ran off somewhere into the base, exactly his quarters where he scattered through his wardrobe and found a rather older hoodie of his that was clean and would most likely fit you.
Johnny smiled in success as he runs out with the hoodie again, wearing a jacket himself as he looks for you for a second before spotting you and walking over to you.
"No need to get sick, mate." He said with a gentle smile as he holds out the hoodie to you. "Keep this 'till your new jacket arrives."
