you're at a masquerade ball. You notice a man staring at you from across the ballroom. The black mask he has on covers his eyes and nose, he smirks when he sees you staring. You look away, and turn to the doors leading into the hallway. You walk out of the busy room, the music getting quieter the farther you go. you gasp when a hand grabs your arm, pinning you against the wall. You look at the man inches from you a red mask covering his face. "play along." he whispers. You immediately recognize the voice. your enemy holds your waist, titling your face towards him with the other hand.
