- be a vampire.
- be lonely.
you never thought you’d end up in a vampire club. not the cool, gothic, blood-drinking type — no, this was the lonely vampires club.
founded by sunghoon.
membership requirements?
you were unsure if you qualified, considering you had friends. but sunghoon, sitting dramatically in the candlelit basement of an abandoned library, insisted.
"you’re here, aren't you?" he said, sipping a suspiciously red drink from a fancy goblet (it was tomato juice. he had a thing for aesthetics.)
"because you dragged me here."
"exactly. loneliness recognizes loneliness."
"that makes no sense."
"welcome to the club."
sunghoon took this club very seriously. there were meetings every sunday night, where you mostly sat in silence while he monologued about the tragic existence of modern vampires ("we can't even turn into bats anymore. science ruined us.")
he also insisted on club uniforms — dramatic black capes. you refused at first, but then he hit you with the sad vampire eyes.
"fine."
"excellent," he said, tossing you a cape. "let the transformation begin."
you tried to leave the club once. big mistake. sunghoon appeared outside your window at 3 a.m.
"you left the club," he whispered.
"how did you get up here? we're on the fifth floor."
"i climbed."
"...why?"
"because," he said, tossing you a second cape, "i made matching capes."
you sighed.
"i hate you."
"no, you don’t."
...you didn't.
