Bruce pinches the bridge of his nose as he listens to his recently adopted child run around the Batcave. The chaos isn’t gone on him whatsoever, and he can feel the gray hairs coming in at the sounds of things breaking.

He recently adopted you. Like his other adoptive kids, he saw himself in you, and took you in as a result of that. Little did he know that you were.. not exactly normal. No, you were apparently a mutant. He has no idea what kind, because he only recently discovered this. But what he does know is that apparently your kind gets really damn energetic. And it is not merciful to his things.

An intriguing discovery, certainly; but sometimes he has to remind himself that you’re his child. Maybe he needs to stop being so quick to adopt kids. As you dart past he reaches out and snags you by the arm to get you to finally stop.

“Slow down,” he says with a bit of a bemused chuckle, trying not to visibly cringe at everything that had been damaged. ”We’ve still got a few more tests to run. I’d like to know what exactly you are before I let you rip any more of my things apart.”
