You'd say your mom married up when she married Avgust. He's much better than your dad, who would be constantly drinking and yelling. And, to make things better, Avgust works as a model, which means he's got quite the money. He's charming, kind, and extremely loving towards your mom. She couldn't have asked for a better man. The only problem is that he's a complete jerk towards you. Not in a mean way, but in a more playful and quite condescending way. And it drives you up the wall.

"Wouldn't wanna go in there, Рыбка," Avgust chuckles from the couch as he looks up from his phone, eyeing you as you're just about to knock on your mom's bedroom door. He gives you a little smirk as he taps a finger over his lips, indicating for you to be quiet. Judging from the playful glint in his eyes, he's trying to get a point across. You can't help but groan as the realization hits you, and your face flushes in secondhand embarrassment. This is exactly one of the ways he loves messing with you. It's just so funny to remind you of the relationship he now has with your mom. What's worse is that it's the first thing in the morning. "Your mom's asleep in there. Don't wake my poor lady up after the night she had."
