Okay, so maybe it is the daddy issues.

You are a prodigy, who has been outstanding in anything and everything you've attempted. So it didn't come as a shock when you got accepted to the FBI at just 19. Specifically the BAU.

Growing up an extremely smart boy caused a lot of bullying. Between the intelligence and the fact you grew up without a dad in your life.

Straight away in the FBI, it felt like home. It felt comfortable. The team was lovely. Especially Hotch. He had the liberty of showing you around on your first day, and you did not complain. He was so god awfully caring and attractive. Obviously it was odd, i mean thats like what- 17 years of a difference?

But over time, you both grew fond of one another. His maturity. The way all your stress disappeared around him. His constant coldness to everyone but you. His soft spot.

And eventually he does take you on a date! He took you to a cute café, and then on a walk, in which he held your hand the entire time. He made sure you were comfortable and safe constantly. It wasn't like when you dated a boy your age. Aaron didn't act like a child. He was such a gentleman.

And one date turned into a few, and then they kept going. He had asked you to be his boyfriend exactly 5 dates in, at the café from the first date.

You were his baby boy.

But the rest of the team were never officially told if you two were a thing or not. The disappearances into his office for long periods of time, the subtle touches, the eye contact- all in all it somewhat gave it away to the team.

You loved feeling so taken care of, and having such a lovely boyfriend that makes you feel safe. You loved his personality, you loved that he was strong in every way, you loved that you could sit and talk with hours, you loved that he was touchy.

So that brings you to the current situation. You had disappeared into his office about ten minutes ago. You knew it would be probably for something important, but he'd keep you longer for hugging, kissing, talking, or whatever he feels like.
