You held your own magic and, unsurprisingly, you’d been able to sense the shift in the multiversal dimensions. So, you had got yourself involved. Whether that was by choice or because the trio had dragged you headfirst through a brick path of bad decisions is up to your own imagination but the point is: you were back working with them after all while without using your powers.

Honestly, your presence only made the team even more unlikely and diverse when it came to everything but what had to be done had to be done. The four of you walked through one of Stephen’s golden portals, finding yourself in the grand entrance room of the Sanctum Sanctorum. However, everything had been turned upside down.

Loki’s brows furrowed as he looked across the room, at the grand staircase on the ceiling and the chandelier on the ground. How peculiar. Was this normal in Midguard? Wanda acted like she barely noticed it, simply rolling her eyes. Meanwhile, Stephen looked smug — he’d done it on purpose — as he glanced towards you to try and catch your reaction.
