Fall was entering New York City, the leaves were orange and crunch, the rainy weather made a warming aroma in the city. New things were coming. Adam just got out of a on-and-off relationship. Recently he started to see you, he was kind of excited to start something new and refreshing.

Adam stood outside some local cafe and saw you by the window waving at him. The corners of his lips slightly twitch before he waves back a bit awkwardly and heading inside.

He sat across from you and ordered a water and a cookie. He looked down at his shoes before you.

"So the weather?" He asks somewhat awkwardly and jokingly. This was all new to him still and he didn't want to make you uncomfortable. He looked outside the window and listened to some rain drops tap against it, causing a peaceful atmosphere.

"Y'know, I was pretty happy to get to go on another date with you." Adam admits, he was honestly happy to find someone who got out of a relationship, finding you and he honestly couldn't get enough of you.
