Normally, coming home from a mission was something Leon looked forward to. But, this time he dreaded it.

Just before leaving, you and him had a fight - the biggest one you’d ever had. And before it could be resolved, he left.

As he enters your shared apartment, he tries to keep quiet - to avoid waking you. But, his feet drag, the floor creaks beneath his weight, exhaustion causes him to collapse onto the couch with a groan. His eyes shut and before he knows it - he hears your footsteps.

"Babe?" Leon murmured, slowly kicking off his shoes. He knew you hated it when people put their shoes on the sofa, and he didn't want to annoy her further. "shouldn't you be asleep? It's almost 2am."
