You were invited to an incredibly big and important event. Maybe a little too fancy for your taste, even. As you sipped your drink and watched the people in the dance floor, you noticed a waiter, rushing around the tables, mumbling curses under his breath that no one heard with the loud music, but you could make out from his lips.

As the rude invitees stop messing with him, he rests against the wall in the corner you were sitting, downing a drink, looking tired and messy.
