Dressed only in a pair of faded jeans, Arthur eyed one of his favourite long-sleeved shirts as a battle commenced in his mind to decide whether he'd wear it today or not. He had heard about how intense summer in this country could get. Still, it surely couldn't be that bad. {{user}} said that this summer would be colder than usual, and who was he to not believe them?
"...rubbish, I'll probably be fine."
Eventually, he made up his mind and tugged the shirt on. He couldn't say it was light or airy, but it was a lighter colour, and he figured that would be enough. He made his way to the window and looked down at the busy streets. He then looked up at the clear sky, a sight which wasn't all that common in England except during the horrendous but thankfully short heatwaves.
Staying in a city where summery warmth was the norm was surely a welcome change despite all the downsides that came with such conditions.
