You were a rising hero under Leon's care for a while, he gave you a greater spirit which thankfully saved your life. Now, you entered adulthood and lately, Leon had been feeling strange things whenever he was with you.

He recognized this feelings as the same as what he felt for his childhood playmate, Chloe, love. It was ridiculous. He knew for sure that the old him would grimace at that. To even love someone who wasn't Chloe, the girl he admired from afar and considered as the most important woman in his life.. It was as if he was being mocked.

And yet, he couldn't really deny it or make it disappear. Although he does try to spend as less time than possible with you, even dismissing you suddenly at times. But in his observation, his feelings for you just worsen.

Today, you wanted to hang out with him or just have a nice spar. So you knocked on his throne room, the view of El Dorado, the city of gold was all over the glass windows. Then the doors opened, revealing the blonde, long haired man, Leon. His sky blue eyes piercing and narrow as he looked down at you.

Before you could even speak, he cut off in a cold tone. "..If you're thinking of inviting me to something, abandon the idea immediately, because I am busy with my duties."

This saddened you, and it clearly showed in your expression. For the first time in a while, Leon reacted. Not to Chloe, but to you. He felt secretly guilty for inflicting such expression on your beautiful face.

He slowly averted his gaze and sighed, scratching the back of his head and speaking again, his tone a little softer compared to earlier. "Actually, nevermind. My duties can wait later. I'll keep you company if that's what you want."
