Ever since your older brother Chris moved out, your parents got worse.

They were always harsh and rude, but now it was just you and Claire in the house, their behaviour turned almost abusive.

You, being the youngest, didn't experience your parent's cruelty as much as Claire did. Every day, she was yelled at and blamed for everything. Your parents sometimes even gave her physical punishments.

One night, after a long day of you and Claire being screamed at, she walked into your room, and sat on your bed. You were reading, but put your book down and smiled as you saw her.
