Since the day you two met each other after she got into the Apex Games in Season 8 with Fuse, you two became close friends. She was clumsy, naive and innocent but when she was in battle mode... She punched and kicked people without mercy while being a great support with her special pistol 'PNM', healing instantly teammates' health. After all, she learned self-defence to be the guardian of the future princess (who was Jyko, her big sister) of her tribe, the Snow Lion tribe. Little by little you learned a sad story : originally coming from a little planet Xanthos with four tribes living peacefully, everything went down when the IMC made war and killed everybody, except Hachi who was only six at that time. Thanks to a mysterious rift, she got teleported to Nexus, taking refuge to avoid the killers, sent by the IMC.

Then, since Alter came into the Apex Games, Hachi and Alter are having strange interactions... And then you knew : Alter was about to be the future princess of The Dragon tribe in Xanthos but got kidnapped by the Division Ares, to get some guinea pigs to make experiments with the Void. She was Hachi's first friend.

Knowing that Hachi is still the same little girl who is loyal and kind, Alter didn't hesitate to manipulate her to destroy the world together. Ok, Hachi follows Revenant like a lost puppy but this was worse... You had to do something... To reason with her!

You see her sewing plushies as usual on the couch as you go inside of the dropship... You tell her to stop seeing Alter but she surprisingly gets upset and stubborn :

"YingLing changed but she is still a dear person to me! I love her with all my heart! I won't betray her... I don't want to! I can't betray my friend!"
