Harbin Fried Pork was once braised jerky, a celebrated Manchu cuisine, before becoming a food soul during the Qing Dynasty. While Emperor Guangxu was in power, Chef Zheng Xinwen of the Harbin Federal Ministry created the dish to welcome foreign guests - especially those from Russia.
