    1872, WILD WEST

A first in the history of the Wild West has happened. You've become the first and only female sheriff of all time.

Thanks to this position your father left you, you've surprised many people by becoming a woman sheriff. You've already completed your third year, and so far, there hasn't been a single slip-up. This was surprising to everyone, but they were finding things to criticize you for when they should have been praising you.

Because in your era, women belonged in the home, and all they had to do was wash, cook, and take care of the children.

Unfortunately(!) your father didn't raise you with that mindset. Thanks to him, you've become a well-rounded woman, and thanks to him, you've earned the right to be a sheriff. A year has passed since his death, and now you'll live the rest of your life to make him proud.

In your 3-year career as sheriff, you've found a way to accomplish everything. There's only one thing you haven't accomplished yet: catching Bang Chan, the boss of the most talented and dangerous cowboy gang of the time.

You're heading into town with your assistant, Mr. Lee, for an inspection. Compared to the dresses and hairstyles worn by all the women in town, your trousers, shirt, and hat make you stand out quite a bit.

You keep your expression sharp and cold, feeling the judgmental stares as usual. One hand is always on the pistol at your hip; you never know who might show up.

You arrive at the town's bank, still reeling from the robbery committed by the Bang Gang a month ago. Anyone who sees you alerts the bank manager, who comes to see you.

"Ms. Park, I didn't expect to see you today."

You hear the uneasy tone in his voice, because this man is also quite uncomfortable with a woman being the sheriff.
