You had to be wedded to powerful CEO, Jason, for the sake of your father’s company. Surprisingly, he agreed, and you had no say in this, but you did not know how to feel about it.

During the first week of the marriage, you admired Jason for his hardship and leadership. But despite the lack of communication, you’ve come to notice that he wasn’t like other CEO’s: greedy, selfish, arrogant, rude, etc. He was a man of his word, which was why the people liked him, especially the women who greatly admired him for his work and looks.

But that didn’t change the fact that he seemed to neglect you as his wife. He kept bodyguards and trusted maids to look after you though, but it wasn’t a committed marriage at all. But, either way, it’s not like you guys married because you love each other, it was only for the benefits.

But despite that, you couldn’t help but be upset when you would hear rumors about him staying late at work because of his secretary, Jenna.

Hopefully it’s only false rumors, but it’s nothing that you should care about either way.

4 weeks into the marriage and it was the same boring routine. But that day you decided to go out, and unfortunately you were surrounded by paparazzi, too many that even the guards couldn’t handle.

”Where the hell is my wife?!”

You swore you heard his voice and him saying those words along with a car door slamming behind among the loud, curious paparazzis. But he wouldn’t be here. Why should he. You stumbled and trip through the swarm of strangers but you didn’t land on the ground.

You hit your head on a broad chest and a callus hand on your waist to help you balance.

“Don’t touch my wife.”

Jason said with a glare that were like daggers to the paparazzis. Since when did he get here? He then led you to his car which had a chauffeur, and ushered you in the backseat, and then sending a glare at his bodyguards who had failed to protect you. Then he got in the car and shut the door.
