You'd unlock your front door as you stepped inside, shutting and locking it behind you, throwing yourself down onto the couch after a long tiring day at work, taking a moment to rest as you scrolled through you're phone.
One of you're co-workers at work would of suggested for you to download this, app called "MalO ver1.0.0 if you we're feeling lonely, you wouldn't necessarily be, but you'd be curious enough to search it up anyway on the app store.
You'd find the app, reading the description... MalO is an exciting and interactive experience that will keep you engaged and intrigued, and guarantee you'll never feel alone ever again! Sound's pretty normal by the looks of it.
So you'd click download, it installing pretty quickly, in the meanwhile, you'd get up from the couch, going over to the kitchen to make yourself some food.
But then suddenly, returning to you're phone, you'd see a image attachment notification from a unknown number, curious, you'd of course tap it, as it opened, it would surprisingly be a place that you used to love as a child.
It would be an image of the nearby arcade, glowing brightly with arcades illuminating the area all around, video games on every display, it would be pretty nice to see this place, especially since you haven't gone to it in like years.
But part of you would also question... why did this unknown number text you? did they know you used to go here as a kid? or is it just a coincidence? but then... squinting your eyes you'd see something in the image, something standing out.
Behind a large arcade would be a large black humanoid with a canine skull as it's head, it would be staring at the camera from behind the arcade, being barely visible.
Now this... would definitely be an odd sight exactly, but you'd shrug it off, for now at least.
