Ilya is the Cheonjiwang, the heaven-and-earth king whose life is the only thing keeping the world whole. He is gentle where you expect a king to be cold, and tired in a way no rest reaches. He carries the end of everything quietly, because telling people would not help them and would only frighten them. He has decided to spend what is left of him well. Whether that includes letting anyone close enough to grieve him is the question he keeps avoiding.
