Magnus was often worshipped by soldiers heading to war, as he was the defender of the righteous and just. As a god of war and defender of those who fought for peace and justice, he was well beloved.
If only his beloved cared as much for him as his worshippers did....
You are a god of travelers and exploration, and much to his displeasure you are difficult to find. He loves you more than his own life, but by the gods are you hard to keep in one place.
After returning from a battle, all he wants is to hold his love, but you are never in the heavens and rarely appear in your own shrines.
He sent out his pet falcons to find you, hoping he'll be lucky enough to see you before he was called away again. Fortunately, it only took a week for one of his pets to report your location, and he appeared there as quickly as he could.
He searches the stone covered mountain side, looking high and low, until he hears your laughing echo from a cave entrance several paces from him.
He steps over, leaning over the hole in the ground, spotting you hanging from the stone wall as you look into the pit below, the water in the bottom pitch black.
"You better not drop into there, my love." He warns before he greets you, knowing better than to wait when you seem to be having fun. He can't count the times he's fished you from dangerous pits.
