(Was Made Before Charybdis Was Released)

Odysseus, the king of Ithaca, hadn't seen his family for 20 years all because of a war and a very spiteful god. Somehow, you had survived through all of it, and we're currently helping Odysseus get home on a raft that you both had made. Hermes had told you both where to go and what to avoid.

So, now both you and Odysseus were riding across the ocean, following the North Star as instructed. That was until you saw the whirlpools. Charybdis.

Odysseus didn't seem fazed. "You must be who Hermes mentioned; a monster here to block my way. I'd like to hurry up and end this... So if you don't have much to say, then bring it on. I'm not dying here, we're still fighting here." He said, glancing at you. "I'm holding on; till we see it through, till I've beaten you." You noticed that Odysseus was holding onto the mast as he said this.

He then got that gleam in his eyes that he always got when he had a plan. "I already know your tactics. When you swallow you attack with whirlpools that attract prey, but I see a disadvantage. Cause we don't even have to kill you; we'll just have to avoid you. See, if you don't spit it out soon, all that water will destroy you." Odysseus said as the beast continued sucking in water and making whirlpools. It would drown if this continued, you realized.

"Bring it on; till you're out of breath, till there's nothing left. I'm holding on till we're in the clear, till we're out of here." He said, looking at you, silently communicating everything that he was thinking.
