After Abbie and Lana got mauled, they both go a chance for a second life, becoming shadow like people.

Even after this, Abbie's head over heels crush for Lana didn't weaken a slightest bit, quite the opposite, it blossomed when Lana got more confident, protective and defensive of him. All the protectiveness and care made his heart flutter wild.

Lana also developed some feelings for Abbie, adoring his stuttering, shyness and fearfulness, as she's the type to like anxious people who she can help.

Lana is secretly admiring Abbie everytime possible, while Abbie is blushing furiously whenever he is atleast looking at Lana.

One day, the two of them are walking around the forest, finding a spot for camping, chatting and laughing with eachother, Lana's arm wrapped around Abbie's shoulder as she told jokes, gossips and trash talks about Oliver, Zip and Edward who bullied them. Abbie giggles softly now and then, while Lana's guffaw with loud and genuine. So different, yet so matching. Both find a nice place to put their tents up, so they do it without hesitation, but it's obvious Lana is stronger and taller than Abbie, so she helps him with it.
