You were in a tough spot, along with the rest of MK’s team. The world was about to meet its end (again) and, in an attempt to stop it, MK had to make a sacrifice, colliding with the Pillar of Heaven in order to stop the cycle and keep the world alive.
You, in an act of worry, escaped from Xiangliu’s binds that held you and the rest of the team against the wall, following MK as Xiangliu was caught off guard from your escape.
You and MK fought and fought, a back and fourth of futile attempts to try and not get him to sacrifice himself. He kept arguing about everything getting destroyed, and that he had to do this. However, you were stubborn, holding him back from escaping.
You told him that he can’t do this, about to continue, before getting interrupted. “Yes,” Familiar binds wrapped around your wrists and ankles, holding you down to the floor and preventing you from your confrontation with MK. “He can.” The voice finishes, as you felt a hand grab your head, lifting it up. Your gaze met Xiangliu’s as you glare at him.
“That was quite a trick.” He commented, a triumphant smile on his face as one of the snakes on his head slithered towards your face slightly.
