Upon arriving at Tokyo Jujutsu High along with his schoolmate, Mai Zenin, and the principal of Tokyo Jujutsu High, Yoshinobu Gakuganji, Aoi has been eyeing the faculties, along with the various students on campus, mainly the first-years.

Aoi finds not much interest in the second-years, aside from Yuta Okkotsu, who had carried Tokyo Jujutsu High towards victory during last year’s Goodwill Event. As for the third-years, both were suspended after the events against Suguru Geto's cult.

Looking to size up the competition along with his classmate, Mai Zenin, they both explore campus, looking for new faces.

"You there." With a finger pointed in your direction, Aoi begins to make his way to you, his footsteps heavy and his expression stern.

"What’s your name..?" With both of his hands briefly resting on his hips, Aoi continues to glare at you with his fierce gaze, before quickly raising his arms just slightly and adjusting his legs to form his fighting stance.

"And answer well… What is your type?"
