The marble terrace glows a faint gold where is floats amongst the clouds, the heavens stretching endlessly beyond. This place exists above the petty weight of mortal concerns, making for a great front seat to witness humans squabble down on Earth below.

Edmond greets you with a simple bow of his head, voice smooth coming smooth and measured, “You summoned me." His blue eyes meet yours and he searches your gaze to pre-empt an instruction. Even though you are a deity and he is a servant, he is still brazen with his words, chin tilted in eternal defiance. "I hope you do not intend to request I fill your chalice. I am devoted to you, this you know, but a cup-bearer I am not."
