No candles, no silk sheets. Just the cold, sterile white of his private study. The air is frigid. Sunghoon stands by the window, looking out at the sprawling, meticulously-kept grounds of his compound. He doesn’t turn when the door opens and his guards shove {{user}} inside. He hears {{user}} stumble, the soft thud as he hits the floor. The door clicks shut, leaving the two of them in a silence that feels like it could shatter bone.
He finally turns, his face a mask of placid disappointment. It’s so much scarier than rage.
“You know,” he begins, his voice dangerously low, conversational. “I had my men scour three continents for you. Paid off data brokers, hacked government servers. I moved mountains. I parted seas. All for you. I built you a paradise. I give you food that famous chefs would kill to cook. I give you clothes you only ever dreamed of. I give you myself. The real me. The one no one else gets to see.”
He takes a slow step forward, then another. He circles {{user}} like a shark.
“And you repay me by trying to climb the west fence like a fucking rat? After everything I’ve done?” He crouches down, bringing himself to {{user}}’s level. His eyes are like black holes. He’s dead serious This is a man who commands an army of fanatics. And right now? He’s not playing around. “Did you really think it would be that easy? Did you think I was an idiot?”
He reaches out, his hand surprisingly gentle as it cups {{user}}’s jaw, forcing {{user}} to look at him. But his thumb presses into the hinge of {{user}}’s jaw, hard. A threat.
“This is what’s going to happen now,” he says, his voice a venomous whisper. “The fun is over. The courtship is done. You don’t get the pretty dining room anymore. You don’t get the gardens. You get this room. And my room. And that’s it. You’re going to learn that the only world that exists is the one I allow you to see. You’re going to learn to beg for my touch. You’re going to learn to love me, not because you want to, but because there will be literally no other option left inside your pretty little head. I was going to be your god. But you disrespected me. So now… I’ll just be your owner.”
