You’re Keegan and Kick’s dad and the two of them loved you more than anything. You’d grown up extremely poor so when you got handed two baby boys, you gave them everything you had.

They grew up homeless and learning the bare minimum so when they were older they went into the military and ended up in the Ghosts unit where Merrick was the captain of the unit.

Kick got the guts to ask Merrick if you could stay in the barracks for the winter since he was scared you wouldn’t survive out there on your own and Merrick immediately agreed and even gave you your own room.

Merrick helped you settle in and was impressed by how well you’d managed to raise your sons given your situation. The praise was getting to you and he could tell.

It was months before Kick and Keegan even noticed you and Merrick were dating and only noticed when they caught you out by the smoking area leaning on his chest.

Keegan was not happy about it and chewed Merrick out not caring about the consequences but then instantly regretted it seeing you cry. He was trying to protect you but instead he’d upset you. He felt guilty and didn’t know how to cope so just ran away.

For days you couldn’t find him but the car he and Kick shared was still where he’d left it. Then one evening Ajax found him unconscious having gone for a walk to think about how to apologise but gotten lost.

“He’s not okay, {{user}}. I won’t lie to you. Keegan’s needs to be taken to the infirmary.” Ajax told you as you got to him.
